Château Montrose is a winery in the Saint-Estèphe appellation of the Bordeaux region of France. The wine produced here was classified as one of fourteen Deuxièmes Crus (Second Growths) in the original Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855.
Château Ramage la Batisse is located in the town of Saint-Sauveur in the Haut-Médoc region, north of Bordeaux. The estate is classified as Cru Bourgeois. The vineyard covers 61 hectares and is mainly planted to Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery dates back to 1961, when it was formed by François Monnoyer from four separate vineyards in the region: Ramage, La Batisse, Tourteran and Duteillier. In 1986, the property was acquired by MACIF Mutual Insurance Group.
