This wine presents a deep ruby red with garnet reflections. The nose offers intense aromas of wild red berries, ripe cherries, and dried roses, interwoven with notes of tobacco, leather, and hints of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is powerful yet refined, with layers of dark fruit, blood orange, and hints of spice. Finely integrated tannins provide structure, while vibrant acidity brings freshness and precision. The finish is exceptionally long and complex, with lingering notes of earth, graphite, and a touch of balsamic elegance. Some notes describe it as dense velvet chocolate with raisin and cranberries, super elegant leather, power, extraction, and sweetness.
🍴 This Rosso di Montalcino pairs beautifully with rich and savory dishes such as wild mushroom risotto, roasted game meats, braised beef, truffle-infused pasta, and herb-crusted lamb. Aged Pecorino cheese is also an excellent accompaniment.
