🍴 This exquisite red Burgundy demands equally refined food pairings. Think classic French preparations like roasted guinea fowl with truffles, delicate veal dishes, or a perfectly cooked pigeon. For a luxurious touch, consider pan-seared scallops with a light mushroom sauce, or a selection of fine, aged Burgundy cheeses.
🥂 An exceptional choice for a milestone celebration, a serious wine collector's tasting, or a truly memorable gift for a connoisseur.
BACKGROUND
Founded in 2000, Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair is a relatively new wine producer in Burgundy, but the Liger-Belair family has experience in vineyards since 1815. . It is now managed by Louis-Michel Liguet, Comte de Belaire, who has begun planting vineyards again in Vonn-Romagne and Saint-Georges. Comte Liger-Belair now produces its only wine from La Romanée, a Grand Cru vineyard located on the Romanée-Conti hills. The domaine also owns land in several Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru vineyards. Although the domaine is young, its wines are elegantly structured and highly sought after. La Romanée is one of the most expensive wines produced in Burgundy.
