FEATURES
🏰 The 2016 Trossos del Priorat Pam de Nas is an elegant cuvée of Garnacha and Cariñena, often complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon, that masterfully captures the intense, mineral-driven terroir of Priorat. The estate, founded in 2004, aims to combine the elegance of Burgundy with the power of Priorat, with Pam de Nas being the centerpiece of this vision. Grapes are sourced from the oldest vines in organically farmed vineyards in Gratallops, overseen by star oenologist Toni Coca. 【融合布根地優雅與普里奧拉特風土精髓】
This wine presents a luminous, deep purple color with violet reflections. The nose is complex and multi-layered, revealing blackcurrant, cassis, and blackberry, alongside black olives, green walnuts, dark chocolate, juniper, Mediterranean herbs, almond blossom, roasted almonds, leather, and acacia wood. On the palate, it is dense and intense with a silky texture, cool mouthfeel, and fine minerality. Despite 14.5% alcohol, it feels remarkably smooth and cool, with dark fruit wrapped in silken tannins and a vibrant minerality from the Llicorella slate. It offers a long, precise finish with pleasant freshness and lingering dark fruit and minerality.
🍴 Pam de Nas 2016 demands dishes with character. Excellent pairings include chargrilled roast beef with chimichurri, oriental-style lamb casserole, or pan-fried red prawns on black rice with olive tapenade. It also complements lamb, game (deer, venison), and other grilled meats or vegetables.
🥂 This wine is perfect for a celebratory dinner, a special occasion with gourmet food, or a gathering of wine connoisseurs who appreciate powerful yet elegant red wines. Its intensity and complexity make it a fantastic choice for a memorable culinary experience.
